| Malalai Hospital - Inauguration and Tour |
| "So far we have not seen such generosity and mercy as we are now feeling in Malalai Hospital. We have been living here for two decades but no one has paid any attention to us." So say many of the patients coming into the new Malalai Hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. In May of 2002, Steve Penners, president of AWM, traveled to Pakistan to participate in the inauguration ceremony, to meet staff and patients and to see the hospital in operation. Malalai Hospital is primarily funded through AWM and run by RAWA. |
