Afghan women income projects

RAWA encourages girls and women to produce crafts which can then be sold. By so doing the women are able to generate some income for themselves and their families. RAWA helps support such efforts by providing materials and a place to work as well as by helping to distribute the crafts through local and overseas contacts. AWM is participating in this program.
