Milad is better off than many

Milad is almost seven years old. He got admitted today with diarrhea and vomiting. Still he is lucky because at least he is not coming from "Kacha Abadi." He lives in a rented house in Rawalpindi, Pakistan (close to the hospital). He has three sisters and a brother. His father has a shop in Kabul but did not take his family with him to Afghanistan, because he is not sure of the security situation there.

Milad is not in school yet but wants to go soon. He likes story books with drawings in them. He likes to play and watch cartoons on TV. He likes chocolate too! Fortunately Milad does not know what war is!
