| Orphanages for girls and boys |
| RAWA and AWM run six orphanages with the total of 341 children in Pakistan. The majority of the orphans belong to poor families and they either lost their father or both parents during the brutal Afghan wars. AWM toured several of these orphanages in May of 2002.
