Malalai Joya: "The most famous woman in Afghanistan"*
United States Tour


Malalai Joya, 27 year old Afghan women's rights activist and Member of Parliament, visits the US for the first time since her election.

She first gained media attention when she spoke out against warlords in the 2003 Constitutional Loya Jirga.

Malalai Joya will be touring various cities in the United States in March, 2006 (Women's History Month).
